This coming from a professor in Oklahoma, I believe that tuition and fees are rising for several reasons.

"No one will buy a car from a bankrupt auto company" No, No one will buy a car from an auto company that just had to take a 15 billion dollar loan to survive. What makes anyone think they will last another year or two if we still give them the money.

This whole bailout is smoke and mirrors. They cut the amount from 50 billion to only 15 billion to make it more appealing or not so bad. Next year they will come back and ask for another 15 billion.

This whole thing is funny too, because The Dow Chemical Corporation, which is a smart business, has put a halt on all traveling. They can't even fly in people to interview. Where as, it seems like only after GM had lost billions did it dawn on them that we need to start cutting …

Yea, I personally believe they need to fire their PR person. He/she is terrible. First, they say "we wouldn't want to be late to the meeting." Trust me if you were late because of a cancelled flight, we would all understand, because unlike you we have been there before.

First of all, what makes us all think that Dodd and Frank know what a "viable" business look like. Have either of these two ran a business or an auto industry. Where are the experts in all of this. I don't want these two yahoos deciding on what "viable" is.

Yes, 3 million affected workers, but that doesn' mean that 3 milliion will be laid off. This is like global warming.
